Position Summary

Join Sonoco as a Production and Maintenance Technician in Milwaukee, WI. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll operate and maintain high-speed steel packaging manufacturing equipment on the night shift (6pm–6am, rotating 3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off). Enjoy competitive pay at $35.10/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. This full-time role offers hands-on opportunities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, adjust, and repair production equipment to meet customer specifications.
  • Disassemble, overhaul, and rebuild manufacturing machinery.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Inspect in-process materials, products, and finished goods.
  • Replenish supplies, access computer systems, and communicate shift information.
  • Maintain tools, complete housekeeping, and rotate through workstations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to follow directions and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
