Role Overview

As a Production and Raw Materials Planning Specialist at PepsiCo in Almaty, Kazakhstan, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing operations. This position involves creating efficient production plans, managing raw material inventories, and ensuring seamless coordination across supply chain functions. Reporting to the planning manager, you will leverage advanced tools like SAP and Excel to balance demand with capacity, minimize waste, and support PepsiCo's ambitious growth targets in the region. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will focus on strategic planning and operational excellence:

• Formulate short- and medium-term production plans to align with business forecasts.
• Balance customer demand against production capacities, line loading, and equipment availability.
• Incorporate constraints such as capacity limits, raw material availability, and production calendars into planning.
• Forecast and plan requirements for raw materials and packaging, including safety stocks and lead times.
• Work with Bill of Materials (BOM), monitor inventory levels, turnover rates, and manage blocked or quarantine stocks.
• Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production, quality control, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in production planning, procurement, MRP, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG company.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP modules (MM, PP, APO/IBP).
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, Power Query, and data analysis.
• Higher education in logistics, economics, finance, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.

No prior PepsiCo experience is required, but familiarity with food and beverage production processes is a plus.
