Position Summary
Join Sonoco as a Production Associate I - 1st Shift in Conyers, GA. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you'll inspect and pack products quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment. Starting at $18.30/hr, this full-time role demands excellent attendance, a keen eye for defects, and pride in hands-on analytical skills. Ideal for reliable team players with a 'get it done' attitude, no prior manufacturing experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain production line by packing per Critical Quality Specifications
- Perform visual inspections ensuring customer standards
- Meet/exceed throughput targets while following SOPs
- Verify customer stickers and packing accuracy
- Operate equipment safely and maintain area cleanliness
- Assist team members and participate in safety processes
- Handle overtime as needed
Required Qualifications
- Packing/warehousing experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks
- Team-oriented with quality focus and initiative
- Read manufacturing instructions; work quickly with craftsmanship
