Position Summary

As a Production Associate I at Sonoco's Horsham facility, you'll play a vital role in our high-volume production operations. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this full-time position offers a competitive wage of $24.91/hr on a 12-hour rotating 3/4/4/3 shift schedule, including both days and nights. Ideal for reliable team players with mechanical skills, this entry-to-mid-level role supports our commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency in packaging production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery on the assembly line, feed raw materials, and thread copper wire to ensure steady production flow.
  • Perform routine lubrication, clear jams, relieve elevators, and assist mechanics with changeovers and maintenance.
  • Conduct product inspections, QA checks (crushes, panels, ERs), and notify supervisors of defects.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with food safety, environmental, and SOP standards.
  • Relieve team members for breaks, track production counts, and support overtime as needed on a Monday-Sunday rotating schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift materials, stand for 12-hour shifts, and work rotating days/nights.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication to follow instructions and collaborate effectively.
  • Commitment to safety practices and environmental compliance; pass background and drug screening.
