Position Summary

Join Sonoco as a Production Associate - Night Shift in Jackson, TN. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll perform a variety of tasks supporting production operations. Enjoy competitive pay at $21.53/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential for the night shift (7pm-7:30am) on a rotating schedule: 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off. This full-time role offers mid-level experience in manufacturing and packaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment or machinery.
• Prepare, inspect, and measure raw materials.
• Check components for compliance with tolerances or specifications and perform finish work.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, clear jams, splice, and thread membrane into equipment.
• Provide training or guidance to new production workers.

Required Qualifications

• Perform work under general supervision and handle moderately complex issues, referring more complex ones to higher-level staff.
• Effective communicator over the public address system.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.
• 2 to 4 continuous years of experience operating machines.
