Role Overview

The Production Operator (NPC Processing) role at PepsiCo's Thu Dau Mot facility in Vietnam is pivotal in our snack production line, specifically in the NPC (Next Generation Processing Capacity) processing area. This full-time position involves operating specialized equipment to process raw materials like potatoes into high-quality snack products. Operators ensure daily production targets are met while upholding stringent quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Key Focus Areas

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll play a hands-on part in transforming raw ingredients into beloved snacks. Responsibilities include:

• Executing precise shift handovers at the start and end of each shift, documenting all relevant details as per standard procedures.
• Operating assigned processing equipment to fulfill daily production plans, monitoring for stable and safe operation throughout the shift.
• Conducting frequent quality checks, such as PAE testing, potato slice thickness measurement, moisture content, and salt levels, at specified intervals.
• Performing post-production cleaning of equipment and facility areas, following factory hygiene schedules and protocols.
• Supervising contractors and third-party personnel for compliance with site rules, reporting any violations to the area production supervisor.
• Maintaining full compliance with occupational safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), environmental protection, and 5S methodologies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Accurately logging equipment parameters, quality results, and material consumption in reports, and immediately notifying supervisors of any production incidents.
• Proposing improvements or participating in projects to boost productivity, cut costs, and enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed as a Production Operator at PepsiCo, candidates should possess:

• A technical diploma or higher education from a recognized institution.
• Strong communication skills for effective team coordination and reporting.
• Preference for experience or knowledge in quality management systems and food safety (VSATTP).
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
