As a Production Shift Leader at PepsiCo's Giza facility in Egypt, you'll spearhead daily production operations in a dynamic food and beverage manufacturing environment. This entry-level leadership role suits engineering graduates with minimal experience, offering hands-on responsibility for line efficiency, maintenance, and team development. Ensure seamless execution of production plans while upholding KPIs for water, energy, waste, and quality. Lead the execution of daily production plans, monitoring true and net efficiency. Track water usage, energy consumption, and waste to meet stringent KPIs. Communicate machine downtimes instantly and complete daily M&W production reports. Manage raw and packaging materials via SAP, delivering finished goods to the warehouse. Maintain production line cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
Execute autonomous maintenance tasks: cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and tightening. Own work orders in SAP PM and adhere to lubrication maps and inspection lists. Supervise preventive maintenance technicians, setting and executing monthly PM plans. Handle corrective actions and ensure compliance through dedicated PM techs.
Lead minor mechanical stoppages (under 30 minutes), escalating major issues to engineers. Collaborate on root cause analysis and ensure stable line restarts post-failure. Oversee planned maintenance and overhauls, reporting daily progress. Implement CQV for reliable restarts and alert on spare parts stock levels.
Develop and train operate-maintain technicians to hit KPIs. Monitor outsourced labor performance. Act as a TPM circle leader, meet plant audit standards (AIB/GESMS), and enforce quality, food safety, EHS guidelines.
This role requires an engineering graduate with 0-1 year of experience, making it ideal for fresh talent. Fluency in English and computer skills are essential, alongside troubleshooting prowess, basic leadership abilities, and cultural adaptability.
