Position Summary
Join Sonoco's dynamic tube and core division as a Production Worker on the 3rd shift in Cincinnati, OH. Earn $22.55/hour while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting to the shift supervisor, you'll ensure quick, safe production with a focus on quality and teamwork. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME IF NEEDED. Excellent attendance is key to team success.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with departments and teams to meet production goals.
- Think on your feet to troubleshoot issues and make incremental process adjustments.
- Monitor manufactured product quality and report findings accurately.
- Learn to set up new jobs, train on other lines, and assist other departments.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area; downtime means cleaning and straightening.
- Perform all duties supporting Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- Sonoco mission-driven with 1+ year in manufacturing/warehouse.
- 'Get it done' attitude, urgency, and reliability in fast-paced settings.
- Forklift certification and safe operation experience.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to read manufacturing instructions.
- Working knowledge of products and quality standards.
