Role Overview

The Project Assurance Lead position in Cork, Ireland, is a critical role within the PGCS PMO team, reporting directly to Nicola Moore. Key Responsibilities

You will escalate issues, provide feedback, and assist PMs with queries while managing onboarding, refresher sessions, and training updates. Reporting duties include gathering global project quality data for sector-level insights on compliance, gaps, and opportunities. Perform ad-hoc data analysis on SOX controls and performance, collaborate on standards, and ensure effective communication for change management. Lead PM forums, participate in PQA taskforces, manage up to 2 permanent staff plus contractors, and oversee release management tools like Charm, ADO, and Solman.

Qualifications & Requirements

Success requires strong experience: 6+ years in Waterfall Project Management and 3+ years in Agile/Scrum, with project management and SAFe certifications highly desirable. Key competencies include Driving for Results with perseverance and a can-do attitude; Decision Making to analyze complex problems swiftly; Collaborating and Influencing across teams without direct lines; Motivating Others through positive leadership; and expert Technical Knowledge in PM principles, methods, tools, and techniques.
