• Overseeing onboarding to enforce brand standards, design requirements, Rules & Regulations, and Property Improvement Plans (PIP).
• Guiding owners via tools like the openings portal and Choice Connect for seamless resource access.
• Managing hotel data migration into the PROP-EL tool for optimal distribution on Choice channels and third-party sites.
• Enforcing the use of Choice-approved vendors and services during pre-opening purchasing.
• Tracking consultations and openings for PIP and new construction compliance, liaising with CHI Architecture and Design.
• Aiding owners with obstacles, sourcing issues, and expedited solutions to prevent delays.
• Implementing Choice's pre-opening training programs for owners and managers.
• Communicating with the compliance committee on extensions or stalled projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel as Project Director, Opening Services, candidates must possess:

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including extensive hotel operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to multitask amid high-stress project complexities.
• Exceptional customer service, training, consultation, and negotiating skills.
• Multi-property experience as a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, project management tools, and AI technologies.
• Significant property or above-property-level hotel operations and sales/marketing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a consultative, holistic business approach.
