Position Summary

Join Sonoco's dynamic team as a Project Engineer in Kutno, Poland. This mid-level role offers the chance to drive impactful engineering projects in a state-of-the-art packaging facility. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes, contributing to our mission of sustainable innovation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver engineering initiatives on time and within budget.
• Develop technical specifications, CAD designs, and process flow diagrams for new equipment and upgrades.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement measures to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report to senior management using tools like MS Project or ERP systems.
• Ensure all projects comply with Polish and EU safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project engineering within manufacturing or packaging industries.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Fluency in Polish and English; German is a plus.
• PMP or equivalent certification highly desirable.
