Role Overview

The Public Space Attendant (Night Houseman) position at the Radisson Hotel Sunnyvale is a full-time opportunity in a fun, dynamic environment. This role is pivotal in achieving 100% guest satisfaction by ensuring all public and back-of-house areas are impeccably clean, comfortable, and safe. You'll exceed expectations through brand-standard service and genuine hospitality, maintaining high cleanliness standards across front-of-house and employee areas in this vibrant Silicon Valley location.

Key Responsibilities

As a Public Space Attendant, your daily duties will keep our hotel shining:

• Clean and maintain elevator landings, guest hallways, service landings, and linen closets, including vacuuming, dusting, surface cleaning, and trash removal.
• Collect and transport dirty glassware to stewarding, then return clean items to service areas.
• Scrub lobby floors, vacuum carpets, clean furniture, pictures, and sanitize all public areas, including baseboards, door handles, and trash cans.
• Maintain lobby bathrooms, fitness center, employee bathrooms, and elevators by cleaning, sanitizing, replenishing supplies, and removing trash.
• Monitor guest floors for dirty linens or trash, mop housekeeping closets, ensure doors are secure, and assist with guest needs or room service as required.
• Report maintenance issues promptly, follow safety protocols for cleaning supplies and bodily fluids, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience in housekeeping, public space maintenance, or hospitality preferred.
• Physical ability to vacuum, mop, lift trash, and stand for extended periods.
