A pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to a high-profile client, Philip Morris Japan, driving a variety of initiatives, and nurturing lasting relationships. A trusted advisor, a go-to for all client needs, leading the development of integrated marketing strategies and ensuring the flawless execution of multi-channel campaigns. This role demands a hands on leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering excellence at every level.


Responsibilities

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders as a trusted advisor
  • Act as the main point of contact, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with clients’ strategic goals
  • Lead client meetings, presenting insights, strategies, and campaign performance with confidence and clarity
  • Anticipate client needs, providing proactive recommendations and solutions
  • Collaborate with creative, media, and strategy teams to deliver cohesive, impactful campaigns and initiatives
  • Develop and implement event, ensuring creative and impactful delivery from conception to execution
  • Coordinate with creative and production teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assets
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating emerging technologies and practices into client solutions
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of account managers and executives, fostering professional growth
  • Create an environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and accountability
  • Manage account budgets, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Oversee the development and execution of high-quality campaign deliverables
  • Provide constructive feedback to internal teams, ensuring work meets client and agency standards

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in account management, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Solid writing and speaking skills in English and Japanese
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale, integrated campaigns across digital, ATL, and experiential channels
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
  • Ability to work under pressure, to prioritise, to multitask and to manage the process from start to finish
  • Exceptional client management and relationship-building abilities
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate client objectives into actionable marketing plans
  • Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets
  • Experience working with large multinational clients (ideally within a regulated category space)
