We are seeking a Director, AI Solutions & Creative Automation to lead the hands-on implementation of advanced AI and automation solutions for our creative and production teams. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying scalable workflows and custom tools—including Figma plugins—that streamline creative processes, enable personalized content at scale, and drive efficiency across multi-channel campaigns.
You will serve as the technical expert and primary builder, collaborating closely with PDX’s Head of Digital Production, producers, and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver practical, impactful solutions.
(MUST HAVE ADVERTISING AGENCY INDUSTRY)
· AI & Automation Implementation
· Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered workflows and automation solutions for creative and production teams.
· Build custom plugins and integrations for tools like Figma to automate repetitive tasks and enhance collaboration.
· Architect and implement node-based AI workflows for creative automation and content production.
· Implement strategies and tools that enable personalized content at scale, ensuring efficiency and relevance across channels.
· Evaluate, implement, and manage CMPs and DCO platforms to support dynamic, omnichannel creative operations.
Workflow Optimization
· Analyze existing creative and production processes to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities.
· Prototype, test, and iterate on new workflows, ensuring solutions are user-friendly and deliver tangible value.
· Document and maintain standards for automated workflows and personalization practices.
Technical Enablement & Support
· Provide hands-on training, documentation, and support to help teams adopt new AI tools, node-based workflows, and automated processes.
· Act as a subject matter expert on creative automation, personalization strategies, CMPs, AI toolchains, and plugin development.
· Partner with the Head of Digital Production and producers to ensure solutions are integrated into daily work and aligned with business needs.
Collaboration & Communication
· Work closely with leadership to prioritize initiatives and communicate progress.
· Collaborate with external vendors, technology partners, and the broader creative tech community as needed.
(MUST HAVE ADVERTISING AGENCY INDUSTRY)
· 8+ years of experience in creative technology, automation engineering, or related roles, with a strong portfolio of hands-on solutions.
· Deep expertise in AI tools, creative automation platforms, and personalized content delivery at scale for digital agencies or creative teams.
· Proven experience developing custom plugins for Figma (and/or similar design tools) to automate and enhance creative processes.
· Hands-on experience with node-based AI workflow tools.
· Strong understanding and practical experience with Creative Management Platforms (CMPs).
· Strong programming skills (JavaScript/TypeScript, Figma Plugin API, Python, etc.).
· Ability to translate creative team needs into technical solutions and communicate complex concepts clearly.
· Experience with prompt engineering for AI agents
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design Technology, or related field.
150,000 - 250,000 USD / yearly
