Overview

Oversee the negotiation, purchase and maintenance of National Video activity for Zenith clients


Responsibilities

  • Delegate and supervise workflow within group, determine priorities, and follow up with staff
  • Negotiate, purchase and recommend national video activity
  • Identify, develop and deliver high-value interactive strategies, value proposition, competitive advantage, ROI analysis and market research findings to clients
  • Create and present recommendations to client and strategy teams regarding buys and new opportunities
  • Estimate delivery for all target demographics
  • Manage adherence to client guidelines
  • Negotiate and execute value added opportunities
  • Maintain confirmation of purchase, schedules, budgets, and reconciliation of network billing
  • Monitor performance of buys using current rating information. Secure compensation weight for projected underdelivery
  • Assess/negotiate makegoods
  • Evaluate post-analyses and secure compensation weight for any underdelivery
  • Meet all due dates for buys, post-analyses, and assigned projects
  • Communicate regularly with national television representatives and management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
  • Develop cost per points, competitive checks and group projects
  • Contribute to training and development of Supervisors, Negotiators, and Assistant Negotiators
  • Be on top of latest industry trends and marketplace conditions, and communicate these to clients
  • Motivate and manage Interactive team in the creation, development and execution of marketing strategies, solutions, tactics and programs
  • Facilitate team building through collaborative management style, open communication and focused project management to assure that assignments are executed in a timely manner
  • Ensure team delivers upon objectives within budget and time parameters
  • Support VP/SVP in managing account profitability; identify, assess, and implement strategic organizational capabilities and partner initiatives in a profitable manner
  • Demonstrate problem solving and intervention when necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6+ years of experience working at a media agency, negotiating all TV dayparts and online video
  • Supervisory experience
  • Strong negotiating and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Experience with Media Ocean software (DDS, MBOX, Prisma) or within DSPs is preferred

Compensation Range: $120,000- $125,000 This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
