Your mission

The digital euro will redefine European payments. As a consultant at Publicis Sapient, you help banks, central banks and institutions prepare for this new financial era. You work in agile, interdisciplinary teams at the intersection of technology, regulation and strategy.

• Support for strategy and business case development around the digital euro
• Analysis of economic, technological and regulatory frameworks (ECB, CBDC, KYC, wallets)
• Development of use cases, prototypes and business impact assessments
• Support in the concept development of payment architectures and blockchain applications
• Close exchange with experts from data, tech, policy and design
• Expertise in the financial services industry with a focus on credit (both in the business and retail segments), sound knowledge of financial products and processes, as well as familiarity with organizational models and structures
• Design of proposals and negotiation of client agreements
• Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual booking targets

• Can be product or strategy background 
• Strong background in financial services product management, ideally in payments, digital identity, or retail/wholesale banking. 
• Experience defining, shaping and managing roadmaps for financial products, with focus on security, compliance, and resilience.
• Knowledge of CBDCs, digital wallets, and/or ISO 20022 (direct CBDC experience a plus, but not essential).
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, PSD2, eIDAS, AML/KYC) and ability to translate them into product requirements.
• Proven ability to engage with multiple stakeholders (banks, PSPs, fintechs, regulators) and balance competing priorities.
• 4+ years in payment systems or large financial infrastructure projects
• 4+ years as functional SME supporting dev teams
• 4+ years in agile (SAFe) environments with PI cycles (~12 weeks)
• Experience managing backlog, Definition of Ready/Done
• 4+ years maintaining/refining E2E process flows & implementation specs 
• Very good knowledge of German and English
