Role Overview

As Director – Capacity Operations HUB, you will lead the operational backbone of our hiring and staffing functions. Your focus will be on driving excellence in hiring operations, audit, governance, data accuracy, recruitment systems, and the adoption of AI and automation. You will champion process efficiencies, continuous improvement, and innovative ideas to reduce manual effort and enhance stakeholder experience - enabling staffing and hiring teams to operate more efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee and optimize all operational processes related to hiring, staffing, audit, systems, policy & guidelines, data accuracy and governance.
  • Recruitment Systems & Automation: Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of recruitment systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Drive the adoption of automation and AI to streamline operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve process efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, design, and implement process improvements and system enhancements to support business goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders (staffing, hiring, HR, and business leaders) to understand needs and deliver operational solutions that improve their effectiveness.
  • Governance & Compliance: Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
  • Audit & Quality Assurance: Lead operational audits and quality assurance initiatives to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging new ideas to enhance automation and operational efficiency.
  • Change Management: Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.

Team Management & Development

  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Learning & Development: Champion ongoing learning and professional development opportunities for team members to build critical skills and support career growth.
  • Talent Development: Identify and nurture high-potential talent within the team, providing coaching, mentorship, and growth opportunities.

  • KPIs & Metrics: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness, process efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to monitor progress, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Progress Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of team and process performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
  • Transparency: Ensure clear communication of goals, progress, and outcomes to team members and stakeholders.

  • Certifications in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Capacity/Operations Management, or related disciplines.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in operations, HR shared services, or recruitment operations, preferably in a global environment.
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional operational teams and large-scale process improvement programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in operational audits and data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruitment systems, automation, and AI-driven process improvement.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Operations Management, HR, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
