The Client Finance Manager at CoLab will partner with several teams across the agency to own all financial aspects for our client, from start to end, including staffing plans, revenue forecasting, SOWs, and client presentations. The Client Finance Manager will partner with the Account Management, Project Management and Resource Management teams in order to assess client profitability and make recommendations on improvements based on data analysis. They will be planning, setting calendars and schedules and prioritizing client & internal deliverables for their team.  In addition, the CFM will also partner with the Finance Director in order to provide commentary on monthly revenue and team performance. Lastly but most importantly, this role will be a mentor and manager for a team of two employees.

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing and month-end close processes
• Partner with Finance Director on revenue forecasting and staffing/billability reviews
• Support Finance Director on Leadership Reporting, including Monthly Business Reviews and ad-hoc reporting
• Oversee project and client financial performance, including revenue recognition, client billing and profitability analysis
• Partner with Business Management, Project Management and Account Management teams to monitor scope financials and project margins, flagging any potential risk to Finance Director
• Partner with finance analysts and FP&A team to provide timely analysis & commentary to Groupe HQ on TWC and Revenue
• Lead and mentor a team of two financial analysts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis
• Partner with analysts and Business Management to ensure completed projects and SOWs are reconciled and closed
• Guide team to ensure all financial controls and policies are in place and followed
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, reporting enhancements and process optimization

• 4-5 years in a finance analytical role
• 3-4 years of management experience
• 3-4 years of experience in an agency role a plus.
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience using SmartView, SAP, or other finance and accounting software
• Experience working in a cross-functional role
• Power BI experience is a plus

Compensation Range: $60,800.00 - $93,600.00 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
