Overview

About the client

In March 2023, Publicis Media won the Adobe business across Europe, APAC, and Japan. The Adobe.pub team was established to act as a seamless extension of Adobe’s marketing team and sits within the Zenith Global team, benefiting from the scale, infrastructure, and culture of one of Australia’s leading international media agencies.

The APAC team spans Australia, Singapore, Korea, and India, delivering end-to-end activity across the region, from strategy and media planning through to digital activation and campaign reporting. The team manages both performance and upper-funnel activity, with a strong focus on building full-funnel strategies to maximise Adobe’s digital engagement.

 

Role purpose

The Planning Executive supports the client team in the planning, implementation, and delivery of media campaigns for Adobe across APAC. The role supports the development of communication plans and the day-to-day management of digital campaigns, from planning and buying through to reporting and insights.

This role requires strong attention to detail, ownership of work, and collaboration across internal teams, ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned to client objectives.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Media planning & implementation

  • Support the development of effective, efficient, and engaging media strategies for key Adobe products including Photoshop, Firefly, Express, and Acrobat.

  • Assist in creating clear and coherent communication plans that align with business objectives, budgets, timing, and channel requirements.

  • Support the day-to-day implementation of campaigns, ensuring media is bought, trafficked, and delivered according to plan.

  • Develop an understanding of each media channel’s strengths, limitations, and role within the broader plan.

  • Map timelines and deliverables across campaigns, including creative deadlines, publisher requirements, and reporting schedules.

Internal & external collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships with clients, internal planning and activation teams, analytics teams, and media partners.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of Adobe’s products, target audiences, communications strategies, and key messages.

  • Support research into competitor activity, consumer behaviour, and broader market trends impacting Adobe’s categories.

  • Actively contribute to internal and external WIP meetings, escalating risks or issues early and constructively.

Campaign analysis, reporting & optimisation

  • Support monitoring of live campaigns to ensure budgets are pacing correctly and activity is performing efficiently.

  • Assist with analysing historical and in-flight campaigns to identify learnings and optimisation opportunities.

  • Work with analytics teams across Adobe.pub and Adobe to integrate insights into future planning.

  • Assist with post-campaign reporting, clearly linking results back to campaign objectives and strategic intent.

  • Ensure all reporting is delivered on time, accurately, and to a high standard.

Campaign management & finance

  • Support financial accuracy across campaigns, including budget tracking, invoicing support, and reconciliation.

  • Assist with checking proformas, managing billings, and responding promptly to account queries.

  • Maintain accurate records across media plans, systems, and documentation.

Qualifications & experience

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly organised, with proven experience delivering projects on time and to a high standard; prior client-facing experience is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, with pride taken in delivering accurate, high-quality work.

  • Proficiency in Excel, with confidence across Word and PowerPoint.

  • Curious, proactive, and enthusiastic about building a career in media and digital marketing.

  • A genuine desire to help clients achieve business and marketing goals.
