Overview

Position Overview:

Publicis Re:Sources is seeking an analytical and organized intern to work closely with the organization’s data privacy legal team. This is a part-time position, 10 hours per week, based at our offices at 35 W. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL.

 

The intern will gain hands-on experience in privacy law and project management by working on real-world privacy challenges within the advertising industry.

 

There are two positions available: one starting immediately upon hire and another starting  May 2026.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Assist in managing privacy-related projects, including scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Research: Conduct in-depth research on data protection laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments.
  • Summaries: Prepare clear and concise summaries of research findings to support the legal team’s decision-making processes.
  • Documentation: Assist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, procedures, and compliance documents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the legal team and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support: Provide general administrative support to the privacy legal team as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a juris doctor (JD) degree at a local law school
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
  • Proficient using Westlaw and other legal research tools
