The Scientific Project Manager is responsible for managing complex scientific projects while ensuring high quality, scientific accuracy, and adherence to budgets and timelines. The role involves conceptualizing and assessing the feasibility of scientific projects to achieve brand objectives, collaborating closely with the Account team on budgeting and scheduling, and independently creating and editing materials that support brand goals. The Scientific Project Manager develops original content and maintains effective communication with healthcare professionals and clients. The role also involves identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), scientific societies, and medical advisors, including negotiating agreements when required. The position may include supervising individuals or teams and ensuring the smooth execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrate and apply in-depth knowledge of assigned brands, therapeutic areas, and key competitor products, including strengths, weaknesses, positioning, and performance.
Identify key stakeholders for each project and define strategies and plans to achieve brand objectives.
Analyze and interpret scientific data effectively, extracting actionable insights for agency proposals and business decisions.
Influence clients to achieve brand objectives through the creation and execution of scientific and promotional programs, as well as educational materials across all channels (online, offline, and in-person).
Continuously update knowledge of health sciences, technology, and other relevant disciplines for professional growth and project management.
Participate in strategic meetings and discussions with clients, including Marketing and Medical teams.
Contribute to the preparation and development of proposals.
Communicate clearly and regularly with clients and the account team.
Present complex data and messages to clients in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
Develop content aligned with the objectives of promotional materials, scientific projects, or training programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with scientific and marketing messages.
Manage program development and completion, including writing, editing, healthcare professional involvement, and production.
Supervise and ensure optimal management of projects, resources, and business operations, anticipating issues and implementing solutions.
Seek opportunities to grow business within existing accounts and related new accounts.
