What will you enjoy in this role?

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Epsilon Prospect Product Development team, you will design and implement cloud-based DevOps solutions, automate infrastructure provisioning, and support Databricks/Spark workloads. You will work hands-on across AWS/GCP environments, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks to improve platform reliability and developer productivity.

What will you do?

• Build and automate cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab/GitHub Actions, or Bamboo.
• Automate environment provisioning, workspace setup, and access management workflows.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational best practices.
• Contribute to networking, security, IAM, and VPC configuration for cloud platforms.
• Support Databricks administration (SPs, workspace configs, permissions, clusters, SQL warehouses).
• Optimize and troubleshoot Spark/Databricks pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and SRE teams to improve DevOps tooling and platform automation.
• Participate in production deployments, release automation, and on-call/incident resolution when required.
• Contribute to reusable IaC modules, automation templates, and process improvements.

• E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
• Strong expertise in Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and IaC fundamentals.
• Practical experience with AWS (VPC, IAM, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch) and exposure to GCP.
• Experience in CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bamboo.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Good experience with Python/Bash scripting for automation.
• Experience with Databricks administration and Spark troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Delta Lake, data ingestion workflows, and cluster optimization.
• Ability to work with cross-functional engineering and operations teams.

Advantageous to have experience in the following:

• AWS & Databricks Certifications
• Experience with Azure or GCP
