Job Description

Company description

Kekst CNC is a global strategic communications consultancy that specializes in protecting and enhancing reputations. From 14 offices around the globe, our team of 300 professionals provides expert communications advisory informed by judgment, insights and data-led analysis. We apply our communications and public affairs expertise across high-stakes business, financial and political matters, helping clients communicate effectively through periods of disruption, transformation and growth. We are part of the Public Groupe, the largest communications group in the world.

Overview

Are you eager to dive into the world of Strategic Communications in Public Affairs with a focus on Energy and Sustainability? We’re excited to announce an opportunity to join our Brussels team for a six-month, full-time, paid internship. The internship will give you exposure to a range of well-known companies and industries while supporting our teams in delivering a range of projects for our clients. You will work with highly skilled colleagues in a fast-paced environment and engage in a variety of tasks across multiple disciplines.

The internship is remunerated under the Convention Immersion Professionelle (CIP), with an anticipated start in March 2026.

Responsibilities

No day will be the same but your responsibilities may include:

  • Media monitoring, research and analysis
  • Monitoring and evaluating EU policy priorities and decision-making procedures
  • Tracking parliamentary debates and committee hearings
  • Policy analysis and drafting reports
  • Contributing to the development of communication strategies, including communication plans, press releases and presentations
  • Organizing business meetings, agendas and taking minutes
  • New business research projects

Qualifications

To have the best possible prerequisites for a successful journey with us, you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in political science, business administration, law, or other relevant fields. You have prior experience (internship or employment) within an EU institution, an understanding of the EU decision-making process and an interest in EU policies, specifically related to energy and sustainability. Other relevant areas include competition, technology, media and telecommunications.

You are an analytical and proactive person who pays close attention to detail. You thrive in close-knit team environments but can also manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently. Your communication and presentation skills are excellent in English and knowledge of additional EU languages is advantageous. We all have a passion for continuous learning and improvement; we hope that you do too. You also share and act in line with our values: integrity first, critical judgment, uncompromising excellence and globally connected thinking.
