As a manager or Senior Manager in our Strategy team, you will develop innovative strategies to improve customer outcomes, business performance and to lead our clients through their digital and/or business transformations.
You are a strategy and/or management consultant from a leading consulting firm. You have strong expertise in all thing's customer strategy, experience and/or management consulting. You have a genuine interest in how digital innovation can drive and enable strategy.
You have experience working with complex Australian financial institutions, have a strong grasp of the competitive dynamics and regulatory context (e.g. KYC, AML) for financial services and an obsession for digitally enabled customer experiences. You also have exposure to core macro methodologies such as Service Design and Scaled Agile constructs.
Here at Publicis Sapient, you will work on a broad range of projects including the development of customer strategies, digital strategies, growth strategy, transformation strategy, cost compression, operating model design, market sizing, benchmarking, scenario modelling, business case development, capability maturity assessment, roadmap design, and more.
Take ambiguous and complex business problems and leading a team through direct engagement, research, and business analysis to define the opportunity set and recommend actionable next steps
Bring rigor to a client’s decision-making process by performing detailed cost/benefit analysis, presenting and evaluating solution options, and seeking consensus among key team members and stakeholders
Define, scope and plan new solutions for clients. This includes determining how to measure business results, modelling current/future business capabilities and identifying the organisational, cultural and operational changes required to successfully unlock value.
6 - 10 years relevant experience in strategy & transformation, with broad experience across digital strategy, customer strategy and experience, and/or management consulting.
Has prior experience as a consultant in a leading consulting or strategy practice.
Experience working with complex Australian financial institutions and strong familiarity with market dynamics, regulatory requirements (e.g. KYC, AML)
Experience working across business units of a banking institution (e.g. personal banking, corporate and institutional banking) or insurance corporation
Has a point of view on the role of digital and AI in meeting changing customer expectations and delivering bottom line efficiencies, and the associated impact to our clients’ operating model
Has experience independently leading advisory projects and delivering to tight timeframes, within scope and budget, and managing expectations of senior project stakeholders including up to C-level.
Has exemplary problem-solving skills and work with a team to break a problem into its component parts for root cause analysis.
Designs the structure and content for client workshops and can play a leadership role in workshop delivery.
Takes ownership of deliverable design and is an effective team leader, able to delegate tasks and oversee the quality of output
Builds trusting professional relationships with stakeholders at varying degrees of seniority and manages expectations and scope creep effectively to ensure client satisfaction.
Is highly resilient in unpredictable circumstances, cool under pressure, and able to think on their feet to answer questions.
Understands the sales cycle with proven experience in leading the development of proposals, including approach design, leading on-sell discussions, and supporting the identification of new sales opportunities.
