Job Description

Company description

Zenith is a full-service media agency with capabilities and expertise across all channels and disciplines. Zenith is part of Publicis Media, the #1 media buying network in the Americas and #2 globally. As “The ROI Agency,” Zenith’s expertise lies in driving real, tangible business outcomes, not just media metrics, that will have a measurable effect on our clients’ business. Every investment we make has an ROI mindset—not just for our clients, but for our agency at large. We’re focused on driving the maximum value for our people, our capabilities and our media investments for some of the world’s leading brands.

Overview

The Publicis Alchemy team is driven by the motto “Making it Better and Better.” In that spirit, we are seeking an exceptional Vice President of Strategy in a senior leadership role responsible for defining and driving the agency's vision for integrated media, content, and partnership execution for corporate branding activity of a high-profile client. This leader will bridge the gap between media planning, creative strategy, and major media owners, ensuring that content and media work in lockstep to deliver maximum business impact and cultural relevance. A proven history of cultivating deep, strategic vendor relationships and executing at the highest levels of global and high-profile events is essential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Media Leadership:

  • Develop and champion a forward-thinking media strategy that integrates paid, owned, and earned channels, ensuring all campaigns are optimized for platform, audience, and campaign objectives.
  • Serve as the primary strategic voice for large-scale, tentpole campaigns, working directly with CMOs and C-Suite clients to define the content ecosystem and partnership roadmap.
  • Lead the creation of innovative, first-to-market media opportunities by identifying trends in media consumption, emerging platforms, and content formats.

2. Deep Vendor and Partnership Management:

  • Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Maintain and grow relationships with major media vendors, publishers (e.g., Google, Meta, Amazon, major broadcast networks, streaming platforms), and content creators to secure advantageous terms, exclusive inventory, and co-creation opportunities.
  • Act as a client ambassador, positioning the client as a preferred and innovative partner within the media ecosystem.

3. Integrated Creative and Agency Collaboration:

  • Bridge Media and Creative: Establish seamless working processes between the media strategy, creative, sports/entertainment partnerships, and public relations teams. Ensure creative teams are involved early in the media planning cycle and that media teams provide platform-specific context for optimal creative development.

4. High-Profile Events and Tentpole Activation:

  • Oversee Major Activations: Direct the media and content strategy and execution for high-profile client events and major campaign launches.
  • Manage the cross-functional teams required to execute complex live media and content integrations, ensuring flawless delivery and rapid response capability.
  • Identify, vet, and secure exclusive sponsorship and content integration opportunities within major cultural moments that align with client brand values.

5. Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Mentor and manage a team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and partnership excellence.
