As a QA Online Executive at PepsiCo in Guwahati, Assam, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding product quality from production to packaging. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will ensure seamless quality assurance across the production line:

• Conduct rigorous online quality checks in process and packaging areas, verifying FLI standards for peelers, fryers, slicers, and seasoning systems.
• Perform visual inspections, weak link analysis, and PAE evaluations hourly to detect and rectify deviations promptly.
• Monitor fryer oil utilization, slicer blade changes, and peeler maintenance to optimize quality and reduce wastage.
• Lead quality wall meetings, communicate corrective actions to shift in-charges, and escalate crises to the Quality Manager.
• Handle hold materials with NCD tagging (Red, White, Yellow), ensuring clearance within 48 hours and compliance with FSSA and Weights & Measures laws.
• Maintain SAP entries, shift reports, weekly/monthly quality summaries, and housekeeping audits for hygiene and safety.
• Drive root cause analysis for defects and customer complaints, implementing action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Support training on TPOD, oil quality, and packaging, while conducting process capability studies to enhance Cp/Cpk.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, Food Technology, or Post Graduate Diploma in Food Tech/Dairy Technology.
• 2-6 years of hands-on experience in Food, Beverage, or FMCG quality assurance.
• Strong exposure to food safety systems like HACCP, AIB, ISO, GMP, GLP, and preferably TPM.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, audits, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills for internal coordination with production teams and external compliance.

Prior knowledge of snack production processes, such as frying and seasoning, is highly advantageous.
