Key Responsibilities

As QC Coordinator, your daily tasks will include:

  • Conducting online quality checks in process areas to enforce FLI standards during production.
  • Performing visual inspections and verifying key machine parameters for peelers, fryers, slicers (thickness average/range), chip conveyors, and seasoning tumblers.
  • Optimizing fryer oil utilization through 4-hourly checks on FFA, OV, foreign materials, taste, and odor against gold standard charts.
  • Deciding fresh and blended oil mixes for frying operations to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Leading product weak link analysis at stipulated frequencies and holding quality wall meetings with shift in-charges, packaging leaders, and operatives.
  • Ensuring hourly PAE analysis by operatives across all lines and swift corrective actions for quality deviations.
  • Communicating concerns to shift in-charges, production managers, and escalating crises to the Quality Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • B.Sc. in Chemistry or Food Technology, or Post Graduate degrees in Food Technology or Dairy Technology.
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in the Food, Beverage, or FMCG industry.
  • Strong exposure to food safety systems, ISO standards, HACCP, AIB, and preferably TPM.
  • Excellent analytical skills for root cause failure analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Knowledge of personal hygiene, process audits, and maintaining GMP/GHP/GLP.

Prior experience in snack production or oil management is a plus, ensuring you can hit the ground running in PepsiCo's high-volume environment.
