ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.This position is for software design, development of Bluetooth Firmware for Qualcomm Bluetooth devices.Candidate will be actively involved in development of new firmware for Bluetooth latest specification and futuristic products for Mobiles, Wearables, IoE and Automotive marketsCandidate will be actively involved in supporting the existing firmware through feature additions, enhancements and maintenanceThe candidate will closely work with systems team and cross functional teams to deliver quality software following well established software development processes.- Design and develop software on various platforms for Qualcomm internal chipsets- Work with other teams to determine and document requirements and drive design- Resolve issues as reported by internal test teams as well as customersMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.1-8 years experience with Programming Language such as C/ C++ etc.Preferred QualificationsStrong experience and proficiency in C programming (1-8years) for embedded platforms requiredGood understanding of any networking protocol stacks is highly desired and familiarity with mobile development is an additional plusUnderstanding of Bluetooth protocol stack is an additional plusAbility to work in fast paced and changing environmentStrong experience working in real time operating systems for 1+ yearsApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
