The Qualcomm XR Labs Europe is seeking innovators who will create the new digital world.Description/Responsibilities:Qualcomm XR Labs Europe has an immediate opening for a minimum 4-month internship program. As participant you can choose from a variety of topics in the field of XR ranging from applied research in the field of Machine Learning and Computer Vision to implementing novel aspects in one of the supported Game Engines (Unity, Unreal, Godot). Depending on your gained experience we are looking to work with you applying novel approaches for rendering using ML and diffusion-based techniques, or asset generation using differentiable rendering. This position is located in one of our offices in Salzburg, Austria or Vienna, Austria.The internship program gives you a unique opportunity to advance the state of the art in XR. You will join a team of talented and experienced researchers and engineers and become part of our collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.Ideal candidate would bring some of the following skills:First steps working with Stable Diffusion or similar image generation techniques or first-hand experience with working on LLMs or LVMsAdvanced understanding of real-time rendering concepts that have been applied in a modern rendering engine like Unreal, Unity3D or similarPrior experience in working in the field of augmented, mixed or virtual realityWorking at Qualcomm means being part of a global company (headquartered in San Diego) that fosters a diverse workforce.
