Company:Qualcomm India Private LimitedJob Area:Finance & Accounting Group, Finance & Accounting Group > Global Accounting Ops CenterGeneral Summary:Job Description:Primary Responsibilities: Manage recurring payroll and compensation-related General Ledger tasks (accruals, reclass, reconciliation, review, and analysis) on a monthly and quarterly basis, leveraging automation and AI to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Oversee GV interface, troubleshoot GV interface issues and ensure timely resolution, and monthly GL Run ID validation.Perform bi-weekly and monthly reconciliation related to payroll, compensation, stock, ESSP, VDI etc according to Qualcomm Policies.Leverage automation tools and AI-driven workflows to streamline payroll operation and accounting tasks, ensuring faster turnaround and reduced error rates.Conduct preliminary cash account reviews for all payroll-related cash transactions.Intercompany and GL clearing, process IC settlement wires by coordinating with IC team.Dedicated to maintaining data confidentiality and integrity by safeguarding sensitive payroll information and sharing only pertinent details with authorized stakeholders.Support external audits by providing timely, accurate financial data and documentation aligned with local GAAP.Ensure that all processes and policies are compliant with Internal Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements.Monthly Input Tracker updates to ensure accurate payroll-finance data integration.Provide recommendations on overall improvements in payroll activities by researching and assessing standardized workflow procedures and policies.Besides the main tasks and responsibilities listed above, responsible for completing any other tasks assigned by her/his supervisor or manager, including those involving emerging AI and automation initiatives in payroll and finance operations.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.Additional Requirements:Strong understanding of GL accounting, payroll systems (ADP), and Oracle ERP.Ability to learn/understand accounting activities quickly and adhere to them accurately.Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.Proven ability to analyze complex data and solve problems effectively.Proficiency in Excel and data reconciliation tools.Ability to manage multiple deadlines and quarterly cycles.Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree.Should be flexible to work in EMEA or US time zone.Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
