Company:Qualcomm India Private LimitedJob Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Systems EngineeringGeneral Summary:Job Summary: 14-18 years of experience in Performance Verification and power modeling, estimation, analysis of complex Qualcomm propriety DSP IPDSP design team is responsible for delivering high-performance DSP cores which are at the heart of Qualcomm's multi-tier SoC roadmap targeted for mobile spaceQualcomm is the largest fabless design company in the world, generating over $35 Billion in annual revenues from chipsets and royalties from intellectual property. Qualcomm provides hardware, software and related services to nearly every mobile device maker and operator in the global wireless marketplace Job Responsibilities: In this highly visible and interactive role, your primary responsibility will be to drive performance verification/correlation of DSP IP by working with global DSP design team involving architecture, implementation, post silicon and back-end teamsResponsible for analyzing power and performance efficiency across cores/chipsets.Responsible for building infrastructure for performance verification and verifying performance of processorsWork with front end power and backend teams to build power models, estimate power for AI/ML workloads.Writing specific targeted tests to measure power and performance of the processor.Involves having a deep understanding of processor micro-architecture and triaging performance issues in RTL and simulatorSkillset/Experience: 14-18 years’ experience in processor/ASIC performance correlation, power estimation and analysis.Experience in micro-architecture testing for modern high-performance, low power processorsExperience in writing tests and building infrastructure that tests power and performance of modern processors.Experience in application-level power and performance analysisProgramming/Scripting Skills — C, C++, Perl, Python, Shell, Make file TCISolid background and understanding of Digital Design, RTL design, improving model performance and Processor ArchitectureStrong troubleshooting, analytical and debug skillsPrior experience is performance correlation of Processor subsystems (ARM/DSP) is preferredShould have excellent inter-personal, communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced exciting environmentMinimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
