In Egypt, Siemens Mobility is delivering one of the country’s first high-speed rail system. Today, we are recruiting for Quality Control Lead to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

• Manage daily quality control activities in line with the project quality plan, monitor quality targets based on critical project factors, and define appropriate methods and tools in accordance with HQ standards and contractual requirements.
• Report quality status, quality incidents, and root cause analysis to the Head of Quality and other relevant stakeholders.
• Plan and ensure the required quality level across the project-specific supply chain (internal and external), with a strong focus on specifications compliance and interface management.
• Plan and conduct project audits, assessments, and reviews, and actively participate in project status meetings.
• Ensure the implementation of corrective and improvement measures and manage non-conformities (NCs) including associated root cause analysis and follow-up actions.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project quality control within a global environment.
• Experience in core quality tools like FMEA, Six Sigma, 8D, Root cause analysis tools, Lean and Process audits
• Technical knowledge of rail solutions.
• ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor certified
• ASQ quality certificates are a plus.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
