Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and chemical lab tests including moisture, fat, starch, and oil analysis on raw materials and finished goods.
• Calibrate and maintain sophisticated lab instruments such as weighing scales, titrators, and Spectrastar spectrometers.
• Accurately report test results using Excel and adhere to PepsiCo's internal quality standards.
• Assist R&D initiatives by performing specialized, non-standard tests.
• Analyze quality deviations, propose actionable solutions, and collaborate on process enhancements.
• Employ advanced methods like liquid and gas chromatography to detect and quantify chemical components in food products.

Qualifications & Requirements

To thrive as a Quality Controller Lab at PepsiCo, candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Food Technology, or a related field. At least one year of relevant experience in a laboratory or quality control setting is preferred. Key traits include precision, autonomy, and a strong quality focus. Proficiency in Excel is essential, along with comfort using technical equipment. Fluency in Dutch is required, with basic knowledge of French and English to facilitate team communication.
