THE ROLE

Sourcing Manager – Home Textile (SEA)

Location: Shenzhen/ Shanghai/ Hong Kong, China

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager specializing in Home Textiles to lead our sourcing efforts across Southeast Asia (SEA). In this role, you'll play a key part in building and managing supplier relationships to ensure our home textile products (such as bedding, towels, and linens) meet Quince's high standards for quality, sustainability, and cost-efficiency. If you're passionate about ethical sourcing, vendor development, and optimizing supply chains in a fast-paced DTC environment, this is your opportunity to contribute to a brand that's redefining affordable luxury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for home textiles, focusing on SEA markets (e.g., Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand) to identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors while maintaining relationships with existing partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising on quality, sustainability, or ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with design, product development, and operations teams to manage product programs, from fabric/yarn selection to final production, ensuring timelines and specifications are met.
  • Conduct market research on trends in home textiles, materials (e.g., organic cotton, woven specialties), and sustainable practices to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Oversee quality control processes, including factory audits, compliance checks for environmental and labor standards, and risk management in the supply chain.
  • Monitor production output, resolve issues related to procurement, and optimize inventory to minimize waste and support our direct-shipping model.
  • Travel to supplier sites in SEA as needed to build strong partnerships and ensure alignment with Quince's values of transparency and responsibility.
  • Analyze supplier performance metrics and provide reports to senior leadership on cost efficiencies, sustainability impacts, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5-15 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a strong focus on home textiles (e.g., fabrics, yarns, woven products) in the apparel or home goods industry.
  • Proven track record in vendor development, negotiation, and managing international supply chains, particularly in SEA regions.
  • Deep knowledge of textile materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices (e.g., organic certifications, eco-friendly dyes).
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., in sustainable sourcing) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and building global relationships.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in tools like Excel, ERP systems, or supply chain software.
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 30%) and adapt to a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Passion for Quince's mission: making high-quality, sustainable products accessible and affordable.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with DTC brands or fast-fashion alternatives emphasizing ethical production.
  • Familiarity with global compliance standards (e.g., GOTS, OEKO-TEX) and risk mitigation in volatile markets.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, flexible work options, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • A collaborative, innovative culture where your ideas drive real impact on sustainability and product quality.
  • The chance to work with a mission-driven team that's transforming the luxury essentials space.
  • Employee discounts on Quince products and a commitment to work-life balance.
