Core duties include performing analytical tests like Brix, Titratable Acidity (TApH), Conductive Dissolved Solids, Moisture Analysis, and sample prep for Color Analysis and Vitamin C via Liquid Chromatography (LC), all following approved internal methods. You will serve as a backup to team members, support the lab manager on projects such as product specification investigations and method validation, and maintain critical instruments including density meters, refractometers, and titration systems. Your detail-oriented approach will ensure accurate data validation and seamless lab operations.
Expect to handle urgent client requests with composure, multitasking efficiently while upholding Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Safety is paramount, with adherence to all mandatory protocols.
Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree or a B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or a related field, plus 1-2 years of hands-on experience with core analytical techniques in an industrial R&D or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in wet chemistry and LC is essential, along with the ability to learn and apply various analysis methods. Expertise with LIMS systems, detail orientation, stress management during high-volume testing, and a strong safety record in GLP settings are required.
