The Radisson Hotel Nashville Airport, a vibrant managed property under Choice Hotels' upscale portfolio, seeks a dynamic Sales Manager to propel revenue growth. In this pivotal full-time role, you will proactively prospect, close, and facilitate sales opportunities to exceed revenue goals. This includes preparing profit-maximizing proposals and contracts, responding to inquiries per brand standards, and communicating via group resumes and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Solicit business through outside sales calls, prospecting, hotel tours, and client hosting. Retain in-house customers for repeat bookings and referrals across Radisson properties.
Secondary responsibilities (20%) involve market research and analysis to align with industry trends, ensuring client loyalty and future bookings. Conduct timely follow-ups on leads, review weekly goals, and implement strategies for individual sales targets. Assist with monthly booking reports and forecasts to aid management decisions.
Tertiary duties (10%) include attending networking events, trade shows, and community involvement to advocate for the hotel and brand. Ensure maximum occupancy through event follow-ups and maintain all materials per brand standards.
Candidates need a high school diploma (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred) and 1-3 years of hotel catering or convention experience. Essential skills include strong verbal/written communication, negotiation, mathematical abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Delphi, and/or Opera. Local Nashville market knowledge is preferred, along with general contract law awareness. Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) is desirable. Physically, the role requires standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and lifting up to 75 lbs., with manual dexterity for office equipment.
