Role Overview

The Red Team Services Consultant role at CrowdStrike in Tokyo, Japan, is a senior position focused on simulating real-world threat actors to help customers assess risks across the Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Framework. As a leader, you'll coordinate with senior executives, plan assessments, oversee execution, and collaborate with other CrowdStrike Services teams to strengthen customer defenses. Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you need advanced experience in Red Team and penetration testing activities, preferably with leadership roles. Participation in the security community—such as conference speaking or tool contributions—is highly valued. Proficiency with tools like Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, and Burp Suite is essential, alongside deep knowledge of security methodologies, Windows/Linux/UNIX/Mac OS, networking components (routers, switches, load balancers, wireless), firewalls, proxies, mail/web servers, and automation scripting. Desirable certifications include OSCP, GPEN, OSCE, GCIH, and GXPN. Fluency in Japanese is required for customer interactions; business-level English enhances collaboration in our global team.
