The Region Director Sales, Nursing Care Products, is a pivotal leadership role at Cardinal Health, based in the TX-Texas-FIELD territory, ideally in Texas. This position leads a team of approximately seven sales specialists, advancing the Nursing Care product portfolio through solution-based selling in the Acute Care Hospital marketplace. Key products include gloves, personal protective equipment (PPE), skin and wound care, women's and baby care, patient care, and localized temperature therapy. With a salary range of $193,000 - $241,000 USD (including targeted variable pay) and bonus eligibility, this full-time remote role requires 50% travel and offers substantial growth potential in healthcare sales leadership.
As Region Director Sales, Nursing Care Products, you will drive regional growth by executing sales strategies for existing and new business. Responsibilities include fostering a high-performance culture through robust performance management and talent development, promoting teamwork, accountability, and innovation. You will enforce sales discipline via coaching, ride-alongs, and customer visits, while building and maintaining relationships with key accounts. Collaboration across Cardinal Health teams is essential for mutually beneficial outcomes. Stay ahead of the competitive landscape, act as a change agent, and participate in sales meetings, training, conventions, and tradeshows, with up to one week of overnight travel at a time. Other duties support achieving sales goals.

Cardinal Health seeks candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in healthcare, is required. Proven leadership capabilities are essential, including managing diverse personalities in changing environments and designing win-win strategies for Cardinal Health and clients. Self-starters who independently solve problems within tolerances excel here. Matrix management skills, executive presence, solid presentation and communication abilities are critical. Live within the Texas region, ideally in Texas, with ability to travel 50% in the territory. Work remotely from a dedicated home office with high-speed internet (provided by you; equipment supplied by Cardinal Health). Customer/vendor credentialing, including vaccinations, may be required.
