The Regional Account Executive L5 North position at PepsiCo, based in Reading, United Kingdom, offers a dynamic opportunity to manage a portfolio of independent Foodservice and Wholesale accounts across North England and Scotland. Reporting to the Foodservice Customer Business Manager, this out-based role involves 75% travel and full autonomy in driving day-to-day business growth. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of PepsiCo's Route to Market (RTM) strategy in the Foodservice channel. Key duties include supporting AOP delivery measured by Net Revenue (NR), NR/KG, Market Coverage (MC), and share. You'll execute sub-channel Customer Value Offers (CVOs) alongside sales executives and tele-sales teams, ensuring sustainable growth across business units through national and local promotional plans.
Take full ownership of Region One North Foodservice territory, implementing Joint Business Plans (JBPs), Customer Performance Indicators (CPIs), and key initiatives to boost market share. Day-to-day responsibilities encompass building enduring relationships to position PepsiCo as a premier RTM partner.
Collaborate with the New Business team to pinpoint incremental opportunities across PepsiCo's brand portfolio. Work with finance on profitable commercial proposals, own RTM scorecard components, and perform tracking and course corrections with customers and depots.
Partner with Shopper Marketing, Customer Insights, Supply, Marketing, Finance, Credit Control, and Field Teams to craft and refine sales plans that enhance PepsiCo UK (PUK) and customer joint businesses. Support trade shows, customer Rara days, and contribute to sub-channel strategies and playbooks.
To excel as PepsiCo's Regional Account Executive L5 North, you need proven success in commercially challenging roles with a strong drive for results in an entrepreneurial environment. Essential qualifications include commercial awareness to build plans around PUK and customer P&Ls, strategic thinking, influencing and negotiation skills, and autonomous leadership in customer management.
Well-developed analytical skills paired with IT proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are crucial, alongside exceptional organisation and prioritisation abilities. You must thrive amid challenging environments, internal/external pressures, complex agendas, ambiguity, and demanding contacts.
