  • Product expertise: Master MongoDB products including Atlas to confidently coach your team on technical sales conversations.
  • Pipeline mastery: Enable proactive prospecting, qualification, and pipeline building within existing accounts.
  • Negotiation leadership: Coach complex deal navigation and business growth strategies across enterprise organizations.
  • MEDDIC champion: Drive adoption of our validated MEDDIC sales methodology throughout your team.
  • Talent acquisition: Actively recruit top Enterprise Account Executives meeting MongoDB's rigorous hiring standards.
  • Onboarding acceleration: Rapidly ramp new hires to peak productivity through structured enablement.
  • Forecasting & planning: Run weekly forecast meetings and develop strategic territory expansion plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

We're looking for battle-tested sales leaders with:

  • 2+ years recruiting and managing successful software sales teams driving quota attainment
  • 5+ years quota-carrying experience closing net new logos in competitive enterprise markets
  • Proven overachievement consistently exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrated complex sales process management and account opening expertise
  • Ability to articulate business value of enterprise database technology like MongoDB and NoSQL
  • Experience building business champions within target organizations
  • Competitive drive and passion for database technology market leadership

Bonus qualifications: Previous MEDDIC/SPIN/Challenger training, database technology familiarity, and open source experience accelerate success in this role.

Salary & Benefits

Competitive compensation package includes base salary, uncapped commission, and significant equity upside. Total On-Target Earnings (OTE) for Regional Director roles typically range from $250,000-$400,000+ based on experience and performance.
