  • Partner strategically with Sales to articulate Datadog's observability value proposition and cloud monitoring vision to Brazilian enterprises.
  • Manage high-performing team of Sales Engineering leaders and individual contributors ensuring pre-sale technical excellence.
  • Lead recruiting initiatives to attract top Sales Engineering talent in Brazil's competitive market.
  • Mentor new hires through comprehensive onboarding, accelerating ramp-up on Datadog products and customer success methodologies.
  • Enable team mastery across Datadog's full suite: Infrastructure Monitoring, APM, Log Management, RUM, Security, and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Foster close collaboration with Product Management, Support, and Enablement for seamless pre-to-post sales continuity.
  • Conduct semi-annual performance reviews and execute personalized development plans driving team growth.
  • Serve as lead technical expert for key account engagements, presentations, and complex POCs.
  • Coach team on building evaluation plans, handling objections, and closing technical wins.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 1-3+ years Sales Engineering team leadership or mentorship experience required.
  • 3+ years hands-on Sales Engineering or equivalent client-facing technical role.
  • Proven track record growing and developing technical sales teams.
  • Direct experience recruiting individual contributors and frontline managers.
  • Deep expertise in infrastructure monitoring, cloud observability, and modern DevOps technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills articulating technical advantages and business ROI.
  • Strategic thinker comfortable navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments.
