The Regional Sales Engineer role in Germany (Remote) is your chance to tackle real security challenges at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation. As a Sales Engineer, you'll demonstrate how CrowdStrike's Falcon platform outperforms legacy solutions, helping organizations prevent breaches effectively. This position demands significant security expertise to articulate why traditional AV, EDR, and network defenses fail, while showcasing our next-generation endpoint technology. Operating remotely across Germany, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple engagements and bridging technical gaps for prospects.
In this critical role, you'll leverage your deep knowledge of endpoint and network security—including AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewalls, and HIPS/IDS—to drive sales success. Key responsibilities include articulating complex security problems to varied audiences, from technical teams to C-level executives, through compelling presentations. You'll act as the technical liaison between CrowdStrike and customers, collaborating seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering. Expect to work independently as a self-starter, while building on extensive infosec contacts to generate strong references and close deals.
Day-to-day, you'll demo the Falcon platform's superiority, explain deployment strategies, and highlight its AI-driven breach prevention capabilities. Travel may be required to engage key prospects, ensuring CrowdStrike remains the go-to for modern security.
To excel, you need a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, plus a sales engineering background or 5+ years in cybersecurity. Fluency in English and German is essential for effective communication in the German market. A strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems is non-negotiable, alongside proven presentation skills for external audiences.
Stand out with experience in malware analysis, threat intelligence, sandboxing, programming/scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), virtualization/VDI, large-scale cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), OSI model knowledge, or certifications like CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS.
