Role Overview

The Regional Sales Engineer (Remote, Canada) role at CrowdStrike is your chance to tackle real security challenges. Passionate about stopping breaches with a platform that just works? In this fast-paced position, you'll leverage deep security expertise to articulate complex problems, demo the Falcon platform, and drive sales success across Canada. Fully remote, this role offers the freedom to work independently while collaborating with elite teams. Base salary ranges from $145,000 to $220,000 CAD per year, with potential upside through incentives and equity.

Key Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Engineer, you'll be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers. Key responsibilities include:

• Articulating how current security solutions are designed, deployed, and why they fail against modern threats.
• Demonstrating the CrowdStrike Falcon platform's superiority in endpoint detection and response (EDR).
• Working in a fast-paced environment on multiple engagements, presenting to C-level executives and technical audiences.
• Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering teams to close deals and exceed customer expectations.
• Traveling as required to build relationships and deliver impactful demos.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you need proven expertise in the endpoint or network security space, including AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewalls, and HIPS/IDS. A strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems is essential. We're looking for self-starters who excel independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences, including executives.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive contacts in information security and strong references.

Bonus points for experience with malware analysis, threat intelligence, sandboxing, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), virtualization/VDI, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), OSI model, and certifications like CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or SANS.
