Role Overview

The Regional Sales Engineer (Remote, Canada) role at CrowdStrike is your chance to tackle real security challenges. Passionate about stopping breaches with a platform that just works? In this fast-paced position, you'll leverage deep security expertise to articulate complex problems, demo the Falcon platform, and drive sales success across Canada. Base salary ranges from $145,000 to $220,000 CAD per year, with potential upside through incentives and equity.

Key Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Engineer, you'll be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Articulating how current security solutions are designed, deployed, and why they fail against modern threats.
  • Demonstrating the CrowdStrike Falcon platform's superiority in endpoint detection and response (EDR).
  • Working in a fast-paced environment on multiple engagements, presenting to C-level executives and technical audiences.
  • Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering teams to close deals and exceed customer expectations.
  • Traveling as required to build relationships and deliver impactful demos.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, you need proven expertise in the endpoint or network security space, including AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewalls, and HIPS/IDS. A strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems is essential. We're looking for self-starters who excel independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences, including executives.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Extensive contacts in information security and strong references.

Bonus points for experience with malware analysis, threat intelligence, sandboxing, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), virtualization/VDI, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), OSI model, and certifications like CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or SANS.
