As a Regional Sales Engineer (Remote, Malaysia), you'll be at the forefront of helping organizations stop breaches with CrowdStrike's Falcon platform. This role demands significant security expertise to articulate how traditional solutions fail and why Falcon excels. Working remotely from anywhere in Malaysia, you'll serve as the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and our prospects, delivering demos, custom configurations, and trusted advisory services. In this critical position, you'll drive technical sales success through hands-on expertise. Key responsibilities include delivering compelling product presentations and demonstrations of the Falcon platform. You'll configure installations and customizations during proof-of-value (POV) engagements to showcase real-world efficacy. Collaborate closely with Product Management as a liaison for key accounts, translating technical requirements into actionable insights. Provide informal training to the sales team on CrowdStrike technology, competitive messaging, and security best practices. Above all, position yourself as a Trusted Advisor to prospects and customers, gaining mindshare and ensuring project success in endpoint security, cloud, and zero-trust environments.
Expect to engage with diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-level executives, articulating complex security challenges with clarity. Your work directly supports CrowdStrike's mission to stop breaches before they happen.
To thrive as a Regional Sales Engineer, bring proven experience in endpoint or network security, including AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewalls, and HIPS/IDS. Technical depth in endpoint security, cloud security, identity prevention, zero-trust, and MDR/XDR is essential. A strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems is non-negotiable, along with the ability to explain intricate problems to varied audiences.
We're seeking self-starters who excel independently yet collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills are key, especially for C-level interactions. Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, plus sales engineering background or 10+ years of relevant experience. Ability to travel as needed.
Stand out with experience in malware analysis, threat intelligence, sandboxing, scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), virtualization/VDI, major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), OSI model knowledge, or certifications like CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or SANS.
