Job Description:

At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing outstanding telephone support to customers regarding their account activity. This role will also process customer loan payments, correspondence, and other paperwork to effectively service the bank’s loans.

Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides telephone support for the customers, including counseling regarding loan accounts
  • Documents conversations with customers and actions taken
  • Takes escalated calls regarding customer questions that require additional research
  • Processes customer maintenance requests
  • Aids in researching payment discrepancies
  • Assists in customer disputing balances
  • Prepares customer account letters
  • Processes adjustments to customer accounts as requested by collections or management
  • Maintains loans, queues, and necessary reports

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred:

One year of customer service experience

You will remain onsite for your training period with the option for a flex schedule after training if you are in good standing and are meeting the minimum production standards.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$44,940.00 USD
