The Regulatory Compliance Specialist II - Upstream role at Williams Companies in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is perfect for professionals passionate about regulatory affairs in the energy industry. In this mid-level position, you'll manage compliance issues, interpret new regulations impacting upstream energy operations, and collaborate with Operations Managers. This full-time role offers a hybrid work model, blending office collaboration with one day of work-from-home flexibility each week. Provide expert guidance to operations teams on compliance strategies and implementation. Your recommendations will ensure seamless integration of regulatory requirements into daily activities.
Maintain direct contact with regulatory agencies for clarifications and guidance. Monitor ongoing developments, assess operational impacts, and keep Williams proactive in compliance efforts.
Prepare and submit required compliance documentation accurately and on time. Handle other duties as assigned to support the team's success.
Required: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years of regulatory experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Energy Policy, Law, or a related field, plus 2+ years in regulatory compliance or energy-related legal work.
Excel with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, prioritizing safety above all. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong PC skills are essential. Demonstrate a proactive approach to regulatory challenges in the fast-paced energy sector.
