Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Analysis and Interpretation

Stay ahead of the curve by analyzing and interpreting new and existing regulations that affect upstream energy operations. Your insights will directly influence how Williams adapts to evolving compliance landscapes.

Advising Operations Teams

Provide expert guidance to operations teams on compliance strategies and implementation. Your recommendations will ensure seamless integration of regulatory requirements into daily activities.

Agency Liaison and Monitoring

Maintain direct contact with regulatory agencies for clarifications and guidance. Monitor ongoing developments, assess operational impacts, and keep Williams proactive in compliance efforts.

Documentation and Reporting

Prepare and submit required compliance documentation accurately and on time. Handle other duties as assigned to support the team's success.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years of regulatory experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Energy Policy, Law, or a related field, plus 2+ years in regulatory compliance or energy-related legal work.

Skills and Other Requirements

Excel with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, prioritizing safety above all. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong PC skills are essential. Demonstrate a proactive approach to regulatory challenges in the fast-paced energy sector.
