Role Overview

As a Full-time Retail Pharmacist at Cardinal Health's Westernport Mountain Laurel Medical Center location in Maryland, you'll deliver essential pharmaceutical care to underserved communities. This role involves dispensing prescriptions, patient consultations, and medication therapy management at our company-owned retail contract pharmacy. Expect to float to Oakland and Grantsville sites as needed. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-hour weekly schedule and additional shifts available. Key Responsibilities

In this community-focused position, you'll play a vital role in safe medication delivery and pharmacy operations:

• Under direct manager supervision, dispense medications and ensure efficient delivery to customers.
• Maintain open communication, available for consultations with customers and practitioner sites.
• Participate in supervising technical staff to uphold operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies.
• Provide professional consultations to patients and prescribers at partner health facilities.
• Complete operational requirements by organizing technician workflows, verifying pharmaceutical preparation, labeling, order entries, charges, and inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek motivated pharmacists committed to community health:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Active Registered Pharmacist license in Maryland.
• Immunization Certification or willingness to certify within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including floating to nearby locations.
• Strong interpersonal relations and customer service skills.
• 340B experience preferred; vendor credentialing may be required.

Anticipated hourly range: $50.14 - $71.68, based on experience, location, and skills.
