Key Responsibilities

Identify skill gaps and create individualized development plans to build a high-performing team.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial statements for all North American entities. Manage the end-to-end OneStream submission process, oversee complex revenue accounting, and maintain strict adherence to US GAAP, SOX regulations, company policies, and internal controls.

Integration and Transition Management

Spearhead the seamless integration of legacy organizations into the Accounting CoE framework. Define clear roles and responsibilities, collaborate with global leads, and oversee SOX implementation to establish robust main controls and best practices during transitions.

Process Improvement and Standardization

Work closely with CoE leadership to champion standardization efforts, process enhancements, and automation initiatives. Leverage technology to streamline accounting workflows, reduce manual errors, and drive operational efficiency across the organization.

Strategic Financial Planning and Risk Management

Partner with C-suite executives to provide deep insights into financial performance, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and lead high-priority special projects in accounting and finance. Support business unit (BU) finance teams with compliance guidance and strategic planning.

Required Qualifications

To excel as our Accounting Director, you need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or advanced degree strongly preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, with at least 5 years in senior leadership managing large teams.
