Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end preparation and review of external SEC filings including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required submissions
- Maintain compliance with SEC rules, US GAAP, and disclosure requirements while monitoring regulatory changes
- Direct preparation, review, and reconciliation of supporting schedules, disclosure checklists, and supplemental documentation
- Serve as primary liaison with internal/external auditors for quarterly/annual filings and audit coordination
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and business leaders to develop narrative disclosures including business descriptions, MD&A, and risk factors
- Lead development and review of quarterly/annual earnings releases and support annual proxy statement preparation
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of XBRL tagging for all filings
- Provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions, M&A purchase accounting, and judgmental areas
- Oversee equity-related accounting including stock-based compensation, equity transactions, and external service provider relationships
- Establish and update accounting policies/procedures, ensure SOX control compliance, and drive process improvements
