Key Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day accounting operations to ensure processes are efficient, scalable, and error-free.
• Preparing detailed monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Overseeing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, meeting all deadlines with precision.
• Supervising accounts payable (AP) functions, from invoice processing and reconciliations to weekly payments and vendor relationship management.
• Leading accounts receivable (AR) processes, including billing, payment collection, detailed reviews, analysis, and proactive follow-ups.
• Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and employee expense reimbursements promptly.
• Preparing and entering journal entries, along with other essential account reconciliations as required.
• Overseeing general accounting areas such as inter-company transactions, fixed assets, depreciation, construction-in-progress (CIP), bad debt provisions, interest calculations, and capital leases.
• Evaluating new and existing customers for creditworthiness, analyzing credit history, setting limits, and managing applications for overdue accounts.
• Handling all collection activities, including coordination with attorneys and external collection agencies for legal matters.
• Managing vendor contracts, insurance policies, licenses, and permits across business entities.
• Serving as the primary lead for internal and external audits, ensuring full cooperation and regulatory compliance.
• Maintaining a strong internal control environment to safeguard assets, enhance profitability, and effectively manage business risks.
